Lately it's been busy here at Canyonstore.be, we received quite a lot of orders. So busy I didn't even have time to keep you folks updated. Of course, in a way that's good, because a lot of business means we can do something back for you, like offering special promotions, reductions or even sponsorships...

:: RIC 2011 ::

Participation RIC 2011 in Nepal

In April 2011 Canyon Team Vlaanderen and Canyon Team Nederland have sent a group of seven canyoneers (amongst which yours truly) to the Rassemblement International de Canyon 2011 in Nepal. Quite obviously, CanyonStore.be sponsored part of the expedition, in the form of material. More specifically, CanyonStore.be provided Tendon and Singing Rock ropes and paid for the t-shirts and fleece sweaters. The Singing Rock ropes held up quite well, but unfortunately enough the Tendon ropes were not sturdy enough for the Himalayan rocks. As usual, the Beal ProCanyon rope turned out to be top quality rope (no surprise there). Pictures of the RIC 2011 can be found (soon) on our Facebook page.

Irish expedition to Ile de la Réunion

:: 5.10 SAR :: But not only the CTV/CTNL participation to the RIC 2011 in Nepal got sponsored... In June/July 2011 a group of four Irish canyoneers will undertake a expedition to Reunion Island (Ile de la Réunion) and they asked CanyonStore.be for sponsorship as well. Finally we reached an agreement and CanyonStore.be offered a sponsorship in the form of material. A box with the brand new Five Ten Canyoneer SAR, some Petzl equipment, and (of course!) four complimentary "There is no boat" t-shirts has been shipped to our Irish friends. For more information about their expedition, check out their website: canyon.ie

Again, thanks to all of our customers. Canyonstore.be appreciates your business and hopes to welcome you again in the future...

Kind regards,
Daniel
